Police Chief Wolfgang Albers, age 60, was fired after criticism of the police’s lack of involvement and potential cover-up of the sexual attacks on young German girls in Cologne, Germany, on New Year’s Eve. The outrage is brewing in Germany and we will see more pressure build upon Merkel for what can be seen as the worst political decision, perhaps of the millennium – not just the decade.
