1. Terms

By accessing this web site, you are agreeing to be bound by these web site Terms and Conditions of Use, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this web site are protected by applicable copyright and trade mark law. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your state of residence to use this website.

We may amend this user agreement at any time by posting a revised version on our website.  The revised version will be effective at the time we post it.  If we change the user agreement in a way that reduces your rights or increases your responsibilities, we will provide you with 30 days’ prior notice by posting notice on the Policy Update page of our website.


2. Use License

a.) Permission is granted to download or print one copy of the research and/or materials purchased on Armstrong Economics’s web site for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

i.) modify or copy the materials;
ii.) use the materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial);
iii.) attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on Socrates or Armstrong Economics’s web sites;
iv.) remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials;
v.) transfer the materials to another person or “mirror” the materials on any other server; or
vi.) a claim of any affiliation with Armstrong Economics to solicit money from any third party.

b.) This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by Armstrong Economics at any time. Upon terminating your viewing of these materials or upon the termination of this license, you must destroy any downloaded materials in your possession whether in electronic or printed format.

Armstrong Economics has not reviewed all of the sites linked to its Internet web site and is not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by Armstrong Economics of the site. Use of any such linked web site is at the user’s own risk. We do not endorse any third party money manager nor are we engaged in any such arrangement or partnership.

Armstrong Economics may revise these terms of use for its web site at any time without notice. By using this web site you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these Terms and Conditions of Use.

8. Governing Law

Any claim relating to Armstrong Economics’s web site shall be governed by the laws of the state of Delaware without regard to its conflict of law provisions whereas ASK-SOCRATES site is under the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

9. Payments

a.) Armstrong Economics accepts all major credit cards as forms of payment. All services are priced in US Dollars and all payments are made in US Dollars.
b.) All one-off reports downloaded are nonrefundable the same as if one purchases a newspaper.
c.) Any other service by subscription is refundable on a prorata basis.
d.) Any product that is not a written report such as a coin not subject to duplication is 100% refundable within 60 days.
e.) Any refund must be may by the same original payment method you used for the transaction if you used a debit card, credit card, or check. If you used a bank account the money will be refunded to that same account once the initial payment clears the bank.

10. Your Account

The user accepts that it is his or her responsibility to safe guard the confidentially of their account. You may not share an account with another individual.

11. OFAC Entities

Armstrong Economics does not trade nor provide any services to entities that are listed on the Office of Foreign Assets Control’s sanction list, nor does it accept money for management.

12. Electronic delivery of communications

You agree and consent to receive electronically all communications, agreements, documents, notices and disclosures (collectively, “Communications”) that we provide in connection with your account (“Account”) and your use of our services. Communications include:

  • agreements and policies you agree to (e.g., the User Agreement and the Privacy Policy), including updates to these agreements or policies;
  • transaction receipts or confirmations;
  • Account statements and history;
  • any other Account or transaction information.

We will provide these Communications to you by posting them on the website and/or by emailing them to you at the primary email address listed in your profile.

13. Updating your contact information

It is your responsibility to keep your primary email address up to date so that Armstrong Economics can communicate with you electronically. You understand and agree that if Armstrong Economics sends you an electronic Communication but you do not receive it because your primary email address on file is incorrect, out of date, blocked by your service provider, or you are otherwise unable to receive electronic Communications, Armstrong Economics will be deemed to have provided the Communication to you.

Please note that if you use a spam filter that blocks or re-routes emails from senders not listed in your email address book, you must add Armstrong Economics to your email address book so that you will be able to receive the Communications we send to you.

You can update your primary email address or street address at any time by logging into “My Account”. If your email address becomes invalid such that electronic Communications sent to you by Armstrong Economics are returned, Armstrong Economics may deem your Account to be inactive, and you will not be able to transact any activity using your Armstrong Economics Account until we receive a valid, working primary email address from you.

14. Must Read All Terms & Conditions

All Armstrong Economics users must read and agree to the terms and conditions as well as the privacy policy. In addition, if you are using any of the services on this site, you must read and agree to the applicable agreement(s). The legal agreements and policies above provide the terms and conditions related to the specific services that Armstrong Economics offers.
