Isolationism & Violence Is Part of the Cycle

Spread the love

History repeats because indeed the passions of man never change. Crack the economy and what you get is ALWAYS rising anti immigrant movements. Look at the USA version of the Berlin Wall to keep Mexicans out despite the fact they take jobs Americans do not want.

We saw rising tensions in France with Arabs, London with non-whites, Germany with Turks. Everywhere we see the same patterns. Even in Singapore the pressure to reduce the foreign work permits. In Greece, there was the racism emerging against foreign immigrants as people blame them for the economic decline taking jobs. During the Greek elections, a new party emerged called the Golden Dawn, that has been exploiting this very public anger that emerged with the financial crisis. Golden Dawn won 18 seats in parliament last June. They are perhaps the most right-wing party in all of Europe, and have been accused of inspiring anti-immigrant attacks, yet of course it denies violent activity.

Obama is tapping into this same anger. There are ads now appearing on YouTube talking about getting the rich. The Democrats have turned toward class-warfare. This is how violence is fueled, Perhaps Golden Dawn did not advocate the random killings of immigrants taking place in Greece, But by exploiting that anger, they endorse it regardless of their position.

Hitler exploited the anger against the bankers that was transformed into the Jewish bankers and then Jewish businesses in General that became Kristallnacht (Crystal Night) also known as the Night of Broken Glass, or Reichskristallnacht  that became a series of coordinated attacks against Jews throughout Germany and parts of Austria that took place November 9-10, 1938 as the the government did nothing to prevent or stop then riots that targeted Jewish-owned stores, buildings, and synagogues. This was really the result of (1) class warfare that Obama is tapping into, and (2) racist-immigrant targeting. Anyone who tries to say this was unique and just about Jews fail to see the same patterns in every society during economic declines.

In America, the racist attitudes against immigrants strangely was beneficial. Every group, Irish, Italians, etc, whoever was the last one off the boat, were always discriminated against. Prohibition was pushed through by the religious-right who hates Catholics (Irish-Italians) who drank. They tried to force their religious views upon everyone else hoping they would leave. All they did was create the Mafia that would never have gotten a major foothold unless they made booze profitable. They have done the same thing with drugs creating financial political instability south of the border. Legalize drugs and the violence stops as was the case with prohibition. This discrimination forced the Italians to learn English and they eventually blended even Americanizing their names Calogero became Charles. The parents typically insisted their children speak English, grew up with no accent, and most actually forgot their heritage creating the melting pot.

However, when groups keep their customs and distinguish themselves within society, the downside that emerges is also they become targets during economic decline. Hitler was ONLY able to bring those policies BECAUSE of the HYPERINFLATION and economic decline of AUSTERITY imposed upon them by the rest of the world to pay reparations that even John Maynard Keynes wrote a paper warning about the consequences in 1922 for which he really became famous, not for his “new economics”..

Almost a 100 Jews died on Kristallnacht and over 1,000 synagogues were burned with 95 in Vienna alone. The total number of Jewish businesses destroyed or damaged exceeded 7,000. The pretext for the attacks was the assassination of German diplomat Ernst vom Rath by Herschel Grynszpan, a German-born Polish Jew resident in Paris.

It is ALWAYS, and without exception, an economic downturn that fuels these sorts of things. It is part of the civil unrest cycle that turns up in 2014. The bullshit people say like Obama just to win is irresponsible. Sure he does not advocate violence against the rich when behind the scenes he sticks his hand out. They think they can have it both ways. Take their money with a smile, and then publicly call then traitors who could not make it without the rest of society. His speak will be remembered in history:

“You didn’t build that” is a phrase from Obama’s election speech delivered on July 13, 2012 in Roanoke, Virginia that was out-of-touch with reality and his justification for taking their money. He said:

If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business—you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.

The problem is education does not inspire entrepreneurship but encourages conforming to the system. Even Bill Gates did not finish school neither did Winston Churchill. The best often clash with teachers who prefer conformists not people who think out of the box. Obama needs to read the Last Lion on Churchill and stop the class-warfare and revise the monetary system before it is too late. Is NOT the fault of the private sector not immigrants, rich, different religions – it is the failure of government to manage the economy and way too much corruption,  HISTORICALLY – this never ends well. We need Winston Churchill today – someone with courage, thinks out of the box, and it not poisoned by formal education that tries to make everyone conform as MIT’s pro-government posture.

Last Lion“Winston, Davidson had conceded, was the ablest boy in his form. He was, in fact, remarkable. His grasp of history was outstanding. Yet he was considered a hopeless pupil. It occurred to no one that the fault might lie, not in the boy, but in the school. Samuel Butler defined genius as ‘a supreme capacity for getting its possessors into trouble of all kinds,’ and it is ironic that geniuses are likeliest to be misunderstood in classrooms. Studies at the University of Chicago and the University of Minnesota have found that teachers smile on children with high IQs and frown upon those with creative minds. Intelligent but uncreative students accept conformity, never rebel, and complete their assignments with dispatch and to perfection. The creative child, on the other hand, is manipulative, imaginative, and intuitive. He is likely to harass the teacher. He is regarded as wild, naughty, silly, undependable, lacking in seriousness or even promise. His behavior is dis¬tracting; he doesn’t seem to be trying; he gives unique answers to banal questions, touching off laughter among the other children. E. Paul Torrance of Minnesota found that 70 percent of pupils rated high in creativity were rejected by teachers picking a special class for the intellectually gifted. The Goertzels concluded that a Stanford study of genius, under which teachers selected bright children, would have excluded Churchill, Edison, Picasso, and Mark Twain.”
