Dissent in Catholic Church Against Government Lockdowns

Vigaro Arch Biship

We are even witnessing dissent in the Catholic Church against these lockdowns. Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano of Italy listened to American bishops about the closure of the right to freedom of religion. He has filed a conservative objection to the Pope, styling coronavirus lockdowns as a massive threat to religious freedom and “a disturbing prelude to the realization of a world government beyond all control.”

Meanwhile, a federal judge struck down the governor of North Carolina on his ruling that people could not go to church. You really have to wonder what is going through the minds of our politicians when all the evidence shows this is by no means an epidemic. An epidemic requires a minimum infection rate of 7.7% of the population, which would require over 250,000 deaths, not less than 20,000. Something is just not right. There is another agenda here and it just may be to crash the economy so hard that the Pelosi manages to get all the government pensions bailed out at the state and municipal levels.
