This is a set of 10 bronze Antoninianus that were issued followed the assassination of Gallienus in 268 on through to Diocletian and Maximianus 284-305AD who instigated the monetary reform and it was Diocletian who instituted Wage & Price controls trying to halt the inflation. It was Diocletian who also reintroduced silver coinage known as the argentius.
