On the whole a positive session for Asia with the Hang Seng probably the stand-out performer on the day.   The DXY (Dollar Index) fell below the psychological 90 level today and that seemed to propel Asian stocks, whilst Europe preferred the currency. Although not all markets closed positive, the overall theme certainly was. Shanghai and Hang Seng were both strong with gains made from Tech, Consumers and Energy all adding to the near 1% gains. Asia responded to an uncertain US session with its own uncertainty! The Nikkei was almost unchanged despite the move back into the Yen.
