The drive in government to eliminate encryption so that they can track everyone’s money is creating a firestorm. Google and Apple are starting to fight back because they realize that governments will absolutely destroy the internet by outlawing encryption. Reuters reported that Apple Inc told a U.S. judge that accessing data stored on a new locked iPhone would be “impossible” with devices using its latest operating system, but the company has the “technical ability” to help law enforcement unlock older phones.
